Charleston Day 1

Lumpy, gray conditions started Sperry Top-Sider Charleston Race Week today, where four HPR teams are competing for three days of inshore racing. In conditions that started with 12-14 knots but then built to over 18, Steve and Heidi Benjamin's Carkeek 40 SPOOKIE won the first two races, but an OCS and shortened course on the third race gave Stephen Murray Jr's DECISION the win and the runner-up position by 1 point.

Also competing are Pat Eudy's Lutra 42  BIG BOOTY and Jim Grundy's Farr 400 GRUNDOOM.
